MULTITEL’S BAUMA 2022

2022 will be an important event for Multitel Pagliero, which will be in force
in Munich, both in terms of foreign sales personnel and in the number of
dealers. All present. This testifies how much for the manufacturer from Manta
(CN) the international market – as well as the German one – is at the centre of
its interests and key to its growing success. Visitors and guests will be
welcomed to a larger stand with a completely new image, reflecting the
corporate change that began about a year ago. Five models of truck-mounted platforms will be presented to the public:
the telescopic MTE 230 Hybrid, MTE 270 EX and MJE 250; the articulated MZ 250
and MZ 350.

Priority to the MTE 230 Hybrid, a novelty for
2022. Mounted on a 3.5-ton truck, with a maximum working height of 23
metres it is one of the highest reaching hybrids in its class available on the
market. Everything in the platform is designed for efficient use and low
consumption. The electrical system is run by a 48 V lithium battery pack
that guarantees 8 hours of work on the standard cycle and a highly
efficient synchronous electric motor. The automatic ‘stand-by’ mode reduces
battery consumption, while a button on the ground control unit and on the
basket allows switching between electric motor and standard engine mode. All
movements, including stabilisation, can be performed in full-electric mode,
with zero emissions and noise. The 230V charger ensures complete recharging
in about 4 hours, while, with the vehicle engine running, an inverter powered
by the alternator enables recharging of about 15 per cent every hour of travel.
Simple to operate and precise in manoeuvring at height, the MTE 230 Hybrid is
ideal for use in restricted traffic zones, city centres, shopping malls and
green areas.

Also on a 3.5 t
truck are the MTE 270 EX and MJE 250 telescopic aerial platforms with a working
height of 27 and 24.70 metres. Outeach,
turret and basket rotation and the articulated jib with 180° opening of the MJE
250 make them machines with high precision on the work area. Easy to use, safe
in their movements, light but extremely solid, they are ideal in construction,
for maintenance, installing and fitting, renovation and cleaning as well as
metal roofing and cladding, tree pruning and much more. In terms of technology,
the MTE 270 EX and MJE 250 are equipped with MUSA X (MUltitel Self
Adapting Outreach): a system for calculating and limiting outreach that takes
into account the extension of the stabilizers, the weight of the cage, the
geometric configuration of the boom and the tilt of the chassis. The new MTE 230 Hybrid is equipped
with this device as well.

Representative of
the Multitel Pagliero articulated truck mounted platforms are the very
popular MZ 250 on a 3.5-ton truck and what can be considered its evolution:
the MZ350 mounted on a 12-ton truck with a working height of 35.30 m.
What makes the 25-metre a successful machine is its compactness – its 3-metre
wheelbase and excellent turning radius allow it to enter areas where many other
machines cannot – and its versatility. This is thanks to the 14.30 m
outreach, the articulated jib and the possibility of negative working down
to -2.5 m. Here, too, we find the MUSA system, which increases performance.
The same geometries, but with larger dimensions, for the MZ350;
truck-mounted with optional Hybrid pack with 210Ah lithium batteries,
which power a 12 kW electric motor, and the possibility of fitting a 500 kg
load capacity winch in place of the cage.

All models present
at Bauma are equipped with the telemetry system, which allows GPS
tracking, machine status display, parameterisation and remote diagnostics. A
fundamental support for the after-sales service, which, like MUSA, MUSA X and
other proprietary technologies created, developed and applied by Manta
technicians on all models of truck-mounted and tracked platforms, constitute
Multitel Pagliero’s evolved electronics: EVE. EVE, which, in addition to
the machines, will be among the stand’s attractions.
