Conversion of automobiles into industrial vehicles

Having overcome the difficulties of the post-war period, the company focused on hydraulics Firstly with the construction of tipper bodies and later with the design and construction of Italy’s first hydraulic crane for trucks

The fitting of a cage platform was the natural evolution of the experience gained in the field of rear-cabin cranes. This thus led to the first truck-mounted aerial cage, which opened up a new market to the company and was to become its core business

The technology of the aerial platform was applied to a 3.5-ton truck, expanding the possibilities of using the machine to a greater number of situations

The range of truck-mounted platforms increased and the first model of over 30 metres was designed. Transformed into an industrial business, the company entered the foreign market with the sale of cranes in France, Spain and Yugoslavia

Renamed OP Pagliero SpA, the company gradually abandoned the production of cranes and focused on manufacturing aerial platforms mounted on trucks and tracked vehicles

With the creation of the first telescopic boom entirely in aluminium alloy, Multitel revolutionised the market and paved the way for the export of truck-mounted platforms to Belgium, France and Germany. At the same time, it developed versions going to ever increasing heights, including a 53-metre supplied to the Kuwait Ministry of Communications

Thanks to the lightness of aluminium, the range of platforms mounted on 3.5-ton trucks can reach up to 20m
