INDIA AND THE FAR EAST AMONG MULTITEL PAGLIERO’S STRATEGIC PRIORITIES

INDIA AND THE FAR EAST

In Multitel Pagliero India and the Far East are among the company's strategic priorities for 2025.

It all began in April 2023 with Singapore, when the first SMX 250 tracked platform was delivered to Wong Fong Engineering Works, a company specializing in engineering solutions and systems for land transportation in the city-state, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Thailand since 1964. This initial order was soon followed by another, involving two additional SMX 250 units. It was the first step into the Far Eastern market, marked by on-site meetings and several days dedicated to technical training. The relationship between Multitel Pagliero and Wong Fong Engineering Works strengthened further in the last quarter of 2024 with the request of two 145 ALU telescopic platforms and two special MS 100 models designed for tunnel works, road lighting, and airport and aircraft maintenance. This was accompanied by another trip to Singapore for training and setup of the new MT 204 kit. After opening the door to the East, Multitel turned its attention to Vietnam, receiving an order for three MT 182 telescopic platforms in kit form from Kinh Bo Company LTD, based in Ho Chi Minh City. In December, General Manager and owner Vo Thanh Tu, along with sales representative Binh Hòa, visited Manta to tour the production facilities and participate in technical training. Since the beginning, this commercial development has been driven primarily by Distribution Manager Mirko Rebuzzi.

Meanwhile, over 5,000 kilometers away, Multitel Pagliero has solidified its presence in the Indian market. The company entered this market in 2023 through a partnership with Anirban Ghosh, owner of Nexa Global Infra Solutions, based in Mumbai, serving as a bridge to Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. Initially modest, this relationship grew significantly in 2024 with a commercial tour across the subcontinent and the shipment of the first order: four MX 250 articulated platform kits, accompanied by on-site training sessions. India’s importance to Multitel Pagliero was further emphasized with the company’s debut at Bauma Conexpo India, where Global Marketing and International Sales Director Roberto Marangoni gained deeper insights into the local market and explored its vast potential opportunities.

“Expanding into international markets,” Marangoni highlights, “is one of our strategic priorities for the coming years. Entering new countries is crucial to solidify our global presence, diversify our customer base, and seize new growth opportunities. This strategy,” he continues, “allows us to access markets with strong development potential while enriching our offering with tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of local customers.”

“Our strategy,” Marangoni concludes, “is built on a solid network of local partners and a consistent focus on quality and innovation, ensuring that every market receives a service and product offering tailored to its specific requirements. With the support of a highly skilled team and a clear vision, we are determined to write a new chapter of success in our international journey.”
