FA.RO ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY PARTNER MULTITEL PAGLIERO TO ENTER THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH AMERICAN MARKET

FA.RO. Multitel in sud America

Multitel Pagliero’s first overseas landing was in Canada, thanks to the agreement signed in 2022 with the dealer SOS Location in Longueuil, Quebec. Now it is the turn of South America, where the Manta-based manufacturer approaches by relying on FA.RO Italian technology, a representative agency based in Santiago, Chile. Founded in 2017 by Fabio Roscini – a consultant with decades of experience and knowledge of the South American market, as well as the construction sector – the agency exclusively represents Italian companies producing machinery and technology for construction, industry, mining, and agriculture. A valuable help to enter an economic area that appreciates the quality of Italian products, but which is large and characterised by enormous distances. It is challenging, in terms of cost and time, to build up one’s own sales network there. Obstacles that Fabio Roscini’s agency helps overcome thanks to offices opened in major cities in Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay.

The partnership with FA.RO Italian technology will be invaluable in raising awareness of the brand Multitel Pagliero, contacting possible distributors, renters and large companies in Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. A mix of structured markets (Chile, Peru, Colombia, Argentina) and growing markets (Ecuador, Central America, and Mexico). ‘It is a sowing exercise,’ emphasises Roscini, ‘which must be built on mutual trust and transparency if it is to be successful with local stakeholders.’ In terms of products, the focus will mainly be on truck-mounted platform models of 3.5 t, i.e. from 15 to 27 metres in height. Satisfied, but still realistic, the president Renzo Pagliero: ‘South America is a new market for us, a ‘terra incognita’ as the cartographers of a few centuries ago used to say; however, we are familiar with Fabio Roscini, his professionalism and knowledge of local dynamics. We could not have chosen better to guide us in this new experience’. On the same wavelength is Roberto Marangoni, Global marketing and international sales director Multitel Pagliero, who sees in the agreement with FA.RO Italian technology ‘An opportunity and as such a challenge that projects us towards an even more international future. Multitel is growing, changing, and moving towards new markets with the awareness that the brand and the available range can make the difference’.
