The company was founded in 2013 as The Jetv Washing Company. Owners, Andy and Max Morris, had been working in the commercial
cleaning industry for many years and saw that there was room for improvement.
Their goal was to offer customers a superior service with high standards of
cleaning and competitive rates. They invested in an innovative pressurized
steam cleaning system, which was far more efficient than the chemical and cold
water cleaning systems typically used in the UK at that time. They has spotted
a gap in the market, and have since expanded the businessto take on larger and more complex orders. In 2018
The Jet Washing Company was rebranded as OneFifty to reflect its new status.
Seven full-time employees now work out of the Bristol office in the south-west of the
UK, including the two directors and an operations manager. The company also has
a team of casual labourers to call on to boost its workforce during particularly
busy periods. OneFifty now offers a
nation-wide cleaning service and works with clients across the construction,
education, commercial, healthcare, and industrial sectors – with most orders
coming from property owners and facility managers. With a full range of
cleaning systems as well as expertise in exterior surface cleaning, they can confidently
remove any contaminant from any exterior surface.
In order to increase service capacity, in 2021 Andy
and Max Morris decided to purchase their first Multitel Pagliero truck-mounted
platform: the MZ250 articulated platform on a 3.5t truck with a maximum working
height of 25.10m. They had previously
rented machines as and when required and having their own in-house platform was
a game-changer providing greater flexibility and improved cost efficiency. This
lead to them purchasing a second MZ 250 in 2023 and subsequently an MZ350
articulated aerial platform mounted on a 12-ton truck and with a maximum
working height of 35.30 m.
Max Morris:
“We chose the Multitel MZ250 for its ease of use and versatility. It is
so compact that it can fit in a standard car parking space and in areas with
limited or narrow access. The excellent outreach, even at high levels, allows
our operators to access and clean even the most challenging and hard-to-reach
outdoor surfaces. We consider the MZ250 to be the best in class in terms of
reach, and the fact that it is light enough to meet the 3.5 tonne weight limit also
allows it to be driven on a standard UK driving licence. We have been very
pleased the two Multitel MZ250 platforms that we have purchased to date and are
looking forward to testing out the capacity of the MZ350 on larger more complex
projects in the new year. We have found the Multitel sales team to be very supportive, responding quickly and
effectively to any questions we had. We
are serious about continuing to grow our business and would definitely consider
purchasing another platform from Multitel Pagliero.”
