THE MZ 350 HYBRID TRUCK-MOUNTED PLATFORM IS THE GREEN CHOICE OF F.I.MEC

F.i.mec Multitel

The first Multitel Pagliero MZ 350 hybrid articulated truck mounted platform sold in Italy made its way to Ceccano (Frosinone), where F.I.MEC is based. A long-standing industrial mechanics company founded by the Iafrate family in the 1930s and with consolidated experience in lifting and transport as well, thanks to the rental service introduced and developed over the last 50 years. The sale was made by FIMI of San Benedetto del Tronto (AP), an authorised Multitel Pagliero dealer and workshop for central and southern Italy and the islands.

Mounted on a Volvo FL 240 12-tonne truck, the MZ 350 has a maximum working height of 35.30 metres. Equipped with two double-extending telescopic sections, at its maximum horizontal outreach of 20m the platform’s capacity is 80kg, rising to 200kg at 17.2m outreach and 360kg at 14.8m outreach.
The turret’s 450° continuous rotation, the self-levelling platform with 90° + 90° rotation and the jib enable the operator to get around any obstacles and be positioned precisely at the work area.

The platform with hybrid configuration was strongly desired by Daniele Iafrate because of its urban applications. Very compact, the MZ 350 is fitted with 210Ah lithium batteries powering a 12kW electric motor able to assure a full day’s work. All-electric mode can be selected directly by the operator, and the “Standby saving” system optimizes the “full electric” functions. Compactness, low fuel consumption, low emissions and minimum noise make it an ideal machine for use in Limited Traffic Zones, city centres and green areas.

Foundry, mechanics, carpentry, internal and external plant maintenance: F.I.MEC has a strongly industrial footprint. Aware of the impact this has on nature, it has decided to make a forward-looking, cutting-edge choice that will not only have a positive effect on its business, but also on the environment.
