MULTITEL AND A. BETTARINI & FIGLI: A PARTNERSHIP OF OVER TWENTY YEARS RENEWED AT GIS EXPO PIACENZA

At GIS Expo 2025 in Piacenza, the long-established company A. Bettarini & Figli, based in Livorno and operating throughout Italy, once again confirmed its trust in the Multitel brand by renewing its fleet with a new MXE 200. This investment joins an already impressive fleet of over 30 Multitel platforms, ranging from compact models to the top-of-the-line MJ 775, the true flagship of the company.

At the Multitel stand, Fabrizio Bettarini, owner together with his brother Massimo and Stefania Poli, attended the event accompanied by his children Eva, Andrea, and Giorgio, his nephew Matteo, his son-in-law Giampaolo, and trusted collaborator Pierfrancesco Nardizzi.

A Complete Fleet, From Bare Rental to Operated Services

With around 50 employees, A. Bettarini & Figli boasts a solid structure that allows it to offer bare rental (without operator) for machines with working heights from 17 to 27 meters, and operated rental from 32 to 80 meters.

The fleet features high-performance platforms, starting with the MJ 775, the tallest available model, followed by the MJ 750, MJ 685, MJ 525 and MJ 450, as well as the MJ 320, MZ 350, MX 270, and the new MZ 250 recently added.

At lower working heights, the company operates several 20-meter platforms, including the latest addition: the MXE 200.

  1. Bettarini & Figli relies on four specialized technicians and two mobile service trucks, allowing quick and efficient maintenance directly on site.

The “Pink Panther” of GIS

Among the most iconic machines, the MJ 775, could not be missed — the tallest truck-mounted platform in the Multitel range, customized by A. Bettarini & Figli with a bright pink livery, affectionately nicknamed “the Pink Panther.” Positioned at the entrance of the exhibition, the machine drew the attention of visitors and professionals alike, becoming a true symbol of the partnership between the two companies.

The MXE 200

The MXE 200 truck-mounted platform, the latest addition to Bettarini’s fleet, combines versatility and performance.  Its in-line stabilization system with hydraulic outriggers, designed and manufactured entirely by Multitel Pagliero, makes it easy to position and operate even in tight spaces.

Mounted on a 3.5-ton truck, the platform reaches a maximum working height of 19.90 m, a maximum horizontal outreach of 9.00 m, and offers a 200 kg basket capacity — ideal for urban operations, industrial maintenance, construction work, and even port activities.

A Long-Standing Partnership Built on Human Values

The collaboration between Multitel and A. Bettarini & Figli began over twenty years ago, thanks to sales representative Mauro Rossi, who built a strong and trusted relationship based not only on professionalism and expertise but also on genuine human connection.

“Our collaboration with A. Bettarini & Figli started more than twenty years ago,” says Mauro Rossi, Multitel Sales Representative. “Over time, it has evolved into a relationship of mutual respect and friendship that goes beyond business. It’s truly rewarding to accompany such a loyal customer in the growth of their fleet and to share the same values.”

“For us, it’s not just about the quality of the machines — what really matters is knowing that we can always rely on an active, responsive partner,” adds Fabrizio Bettarini. “With Multitel, we’ve found not only dependable support but also machines that blend innovation and technology, while remaining easy and intuitive to use. It’s this combination, along with trust and strong after-sales service, that makes our partnership so valuable.”

Prestigious Applications

A. Bettarini & Figli operates nationwide across multiple sectors, with a strong presence in port activities. Among their most prestigious projects is the maintenance of the Amerigo Vespucci, the historic training ship of the Italian Navy, a job carried out with great pride — and with the help of Multitel platforms
