MULTITEL PAGLIERO: SCHOOLS STEP INTO THE COMPANY TO DISCOVER THE LOCAL INDUSTRIAL LANDSCAPE

Once again this year, Multitel Pagliero S.p.A., a manufacturer of truck-mounted and tracked aerial platforms, has reaffirmed its commitment to youth training and career guidance by opening the doors of its facilities to students from local technical and vocational schools.

Between March and April 2025, three visits were organized at the Manta headquarters, involving students from the ITIS “Denina” and AFP of Verzuolo. On March 7, the first visit welcomed 16 students from the final year class of ITIS. On March 19, as many as 78 second-year students from the IT and Electrotechnics courses attended a presentation about the company. The most recent visit, on April 30, involved second-year students from the welding and metalworking course of AFP.

Each visit begins at the Manta 5 Training Center, where Annalisa Arnaudo from the HR Department welcomes the students with a corporate presentation, supported by videos, introducing them to Multitel’s values, history, and organization. Depending on the students’ field of study, additional input is provided by colleagues from the Technical Office or After-Sales Service, with a particular focus on the hybrid and electric product range —a clear sign of the company’s commitment to sustainability, also in its manufacturing processes.

Students are then divided into small groups for a guided tour of the production facilities, accompanied by Fabio Pagliero or Mauro Rinaudo, who walk them through the work taking place on the shop floor. The tour ends in front of Manta 7 for a group photo and a live technical demo by the After-Sales team: a short hands-on session with the platforms, where students can safely try out the machine controls from the ground.

The day wraps up with a lunch offered by the company at the MiM Corner, the in-house canteen  that also includes employee relaxation areas, followed by a quiz game session to test what the students have learned during the visit. Each participant receives a bag filled with MiM-branded gadgets, while the top three students—those with the fastest and most accurate answers—win a special prize.

As part of its ongoing commitment to schools, Multitel will also host 7 to 8 interns this June under the PTCO program (formerly known as school-to-work programs), providing them with a hands-on experience in a leading company in the sector.

We strongly believe in the value of cooperation between schools and businesses,– saysRenzo Pagliero, President of Multitel Pagliero S.p.A. –. It’s an investment in the future of young people, as well as in the future of our region and our industry.”
