THE FIRST MJ 700 TELESCOPIC TRUCK MOUNTED PLATFORM WITH HYBRID SYSTEM DELIVERED TO BOER B.V.

MJ 700 TELESCOPIC TRUCK MOUNTED PLATFORM WITH HYBRID SYSTEM

The MJ 700 telescopic truck mounted platform with hybrid system and a working height of 70.20 m joins the fleet of Boer B.V.

The highest ‘green’ machine ever made by Multitel Pagliero was delivered a few days ago. It is the MJ 700 telescopic truck-mounted platform with hybrid system purchased from Boer B.V., a historic Dutch rental company founded in 1937. Mounted on a Volvo FM500 10×4 (5 axles) truck, it has a maximum working height of 70.20 m, while the 36 m horizontal outreach allows a basket capacity of 120 kg, 280 kg at 33.50 m outreach, 400 kg at 31.30 m and 600 kg at 28.50 m. Despite its size, the variable stabilisation on each stabiliser from 1.3 m allows the machine to be positioned even in confined spaces.

A high-performance platform that is now zero-emission and silent, thanks to the new hybrid pack that allows it to work in electric mode; a mode that can be selected either from the ground or from the basket.

The power system consists of two lithium batteries of 80V – 210Ah each for a total of about 33Kwh of power and a 20kw – 80V electric motor, which drives the hydraulic pump. The batteries allow to fully open the machine for at least 4 times, starting from the rest position up to 70m. Recharging is possible in two ways: – by connecting to the 400V network (recharging in approx. 4 hours) – by operating the on-board diesel generator at any time during work, either from the ground or in the basket (recharging in about 5 hours)

From both panels, ground and basket, it is possible to access the hybrid system’s diagnostic screen to check the battery charge, the current absorbed in real time, the operating temperature of the batteries and inverter, and other parameters.

The MJ700 was painted in the black and yellow corporate colours of Boer B.V, which specifies on its website that 29 municipalities in the Netherlands have introduced ‘zero emission’ zones. Already in possession of a Multitel Pagliero MJ525 and a J335 ALU, with the new ‘green’ model the Dutch company expands and strengthens its offer of environmentally friendly machines, which can be used in urban construction sites requiring significant working heights.
