Telemetry is the portal that connects the company remotely to either a single truck-mounted platform or a crawler, or to the fleet as a whole; an operation that can be carried out by smartphone, tablet or PC, via a CAN data transmission network. The telemetry system – which is compatible with all models and can be installed when the vehicle is purchased as well as afterwards – allows GPS tracking, machine status display, parameterisation and remote diagnostics. It is a fundamental support for technical assistance, as it checks in real time the machine’s position, status and any anomalies to correct, verifies the efficiency of the machine, intervening to improve its performance and to plan maintenance operations, saving time and money. Like MUSA e MUSA X, Telemetry is part of the proprietary technologies created and developed by Manta technicians that represent Multitel Pagliero Evolved Electronic: EVE.

With the recent Telemetry upgrade, the company takes the evolved electronics one step further, thanks to a new feature – a dashboard – that offers a dynamic real-time view of the platform at work. The dashboard allows the customer to:

• get acquainted with the components and sensors
• have alarms, alerts, location and a graph with the daily hours of the last working week at their fingertips
• have access – thanks to real time monitoring – to the main information of the platform’s working position, with: stabilisation configuration (stabilisation in outline or extended), angular position of the booms and turret, visualisation of the angle of inclination of the chassis, length of the boom extension, weight in the basket, orientation of the basket rotation angle.

Of course, this is a quantum leap for Multitel Pagliero’s already excellent service, which, thanks to fast and effective diagnostics, has even more precise information on machine configuration. Access to the portal is provided by subscription, which is activated by creating a customer account and matching the vehicles. There are 3 levels of access:
Level 1: customer, whose dashboard/vehicle is matched to the relevant dealer
Level 2: authorised workshop/specialised technician
Level 3: technicians, providing remote assistance and parameterisation
