Multitel Pagliero has recently delivered two MTE 270EX truck-mounted telescopic platforms with a maximum working height of 27 m to F.I.M. Noleggi; a Novara-based company founded a decade ago by Vincenzo Basilicata. A young company in history as well as in staff – which behind F.I.M. hides the name of their children Fabio, Irene and Monica – but growing fast. Established to focus mainly on the conservation of green spaces compared to rental, in just a few years the relationship was reversed and now F.I.M. Noleggi deals with the rental of aerial platforms, earthmoving machines and construction equipment. Located in one of the most productive economic areas in northern Italy, it develops its core business in a 150 km area between the province of Novara and the Milanese hinterland. The customers are companies, craftsmen and professionals from the most diverse sectors: construction, engineering, agriculture. 130 vehicles make up the rental fleet; a fleet that has grown rapidly and is likely to increase in response to market demand.
This now includes two MTE 270EX truck-mounted telescopic platforms, with three more to follow. Almost a new entry as far as Multitel Pagliero is concerned, if it were not for an MX250 purchased by F.I.M. Noleggi in the very early years of its activity. A 3.5 tonne model that can be driven with a B licence, the MTE 270EX was chosen for its high horizontal reach: 17 metres with a basket capacity of 80 kg, 230 kg with 12.80 m outreach. The stabilisation and the automatic stowage make it an easy-to-use machine, thanks also to two proprietary technological features: MUSA (MUltitel Self Adapting outreach) and telemetry. The first is an outreach calculation and limitation system that maximises the work area covered by the platform according to the stabilization configuration selected; the second enables GPS localization, machine status display, parameterization and remote diagnosis.
A pillar of Multitel Pagliero assistance.
F.I.M.’s is a young staff, which shares with Vincenzo Basilicata an approach to work in which the relationship between people is fundamental; not only in the management of the professional day-to-day, but also in free time. New in recent months are F.I.M. Padel and FIM Café: two areas that provide a place to meet and have fun. A break between one rental and another, a space to recharge batteries.
