Multitel continues to strengthen its position in the aviation sector with a strategic supply to one of Europe\u2019s leading airline operators.\u00a0Multitel UK<\/strong>\u00a0has delivered\u00a018 aerial platforms<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0TUI Airlines<\/strong>, now deployed across\u00a0nine international airports in the United Kingdom<\/strong>, supporting aircraft maintenance and ground servicing operations.<\/p>

The supply was managed through\u00a0React Access Ltd<\/strong>, a well-established partner in the UK access rental market with extensive experience in airport and aviation-related applications. Multitel platforms were selected to meet TUI\u2019s operational requirements in terms of\u00a0safety, reliability and operational flexibility, all critical factors in high-intensity airport environments.<\/p>

The supplied fleet comprises\u00a07 MS 100 units<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a011 MJ 201 truck-mounted platforms<\/strong>, configurations that enable efficient operations across a wide range of aircraft types, including wide-body aircraft such as the Dreamliner, optimising ground operations and reducing intervention times. The platforms have been strategically deployed across\u00a0nine UK airports<\/strong>\u00a0where TUI Airlines operates regularly, ensuring operational consistency and high standards throughout the network.
The\u00a0MS 100<\/strong>\u00a0is a compact truck-mounted platform offering a working height of approximately\u00a010 m<\/strong>\u00a0(6.5 m without stabilisers) and a maximum platform capacity of up to\u00a0400 kg<\/strong>\u00a0with stabilisers deployed. Its aluminium telescopic boom and spacious platform make it particularly suitable for servicing medium- and wide-body aircraft.
The\u00a0MJ 201<\/strong>, mounted on a 3.5-ton chassis, delivers a working height of up to\u00a020.10 m<\/strong>, a maximum outreach of\u00a012.60 m<\/strong>, a\u00a0400\u00b0 turret rotation<\/strong>\u00a0and a self-levelling basket, ensuring precise and efficient access even in confined or complex operational areas.<\/p>

A key milestone of the project was the\u00a0promotional day held in December 2025 at Birmingham Airport, where Multitel platforms were demonstrated on site alongside a TUI aircraft, showcasing their performance in real operating conditions.<\/p>

\u201cThis project is a clear example of Multitel\u2019s ability to meet the highly specific requirements of the aviation sector,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0said\u00a0Greg Moore<\/strong>, UK & Ireland General Sales Manager at Multitel.\u00a0\u201cThe collaboration with React Access Ltd (MD \/ Owners <\/em>Chris Caney & Duncan Howard<\/em><\/strong>) and TUI Airlines, followed a structured technical and operational process, enabling us to identify the most suitable solutions in terms of safety, performance and local support. The result is a highly efficient fleet, strategically deployed across multiple airports, and a strong foundation for further opportunities in other European markets.\u201d<\/em><\/p>

The supply followed an in-depth evaluation process that began in 2024, including a visit to Multitel\u2019s headquarters in Manta, Italy. During this visit, representatives from React Access and TUI had the opportunity to test several models from the Multitel range, gaining first-hand experience of the machines\u2019 design quality, engineering solutions and the support structure provided by Multitel UK.<\/p>

Beyond the UK market, this project also represents\u00a0a starting point for future international developments. TUI is currently assessing the potential deployment of additional Multitel platforms in other European countries, including the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany, while further opportunities with other airline operators are under evaluation.<\/p>

With this supply, Multitel once again demonstrates its capability to\u00a0deliver specialised access solutions for complex operational environments<\/strong>, reinforcing its position in the airport and aviation sector and supporting continued international growth alongside its partners.<\/p>
