Precision, speed, and safety: these were the key elements of the work carried out by AMIP SRL on behalf of Urban Vision Group in Piazza Piemonte, Milan, where a building under renovation was entirely covered by a spectacular visual installation dedicated to the famous Tanqueray gin.

To conceal the construction site while creating a strong aesthetic impact, AMIP SRL built a self-supporting scaffolding structure completely wrapped in a giant 3D billboard representing a Tanqueray bottle, protruding from the façade. The dramatic effect was enhanced by perimeter lighting and pedestrian safety measures along the street.

The installation was completed in approximately a day and a half, by a team of six specialized operators, while the dismantling, in mid-September, was finished in just half a day.

The work of AMIP SRL relied heavily on Multitel Pagliero platforms, which were used for all assembly and dismantling operations. In particular:

  • TheMultitel MJ 420, a truck-mounted platform with a working height of 42 m, outreach up to 27 m, and basket capacity up to 400 kg, was used in the 700 kg winch version to handle and position structural materials and advertising panels;

  • TheMultitel MJ 320, with a working height of 32 m and a maximum outreach of 20.5 m, assisted in securing components and final adjustments.

    Both platforms are equipped with proportional electro-hydraulic controls, allowing smooth and precise positioning and handling, even in tight spaces and urban operating conditions.

    The work of the two platforms required perfect coordination between operators, who worked in synergy to quickly and safely assemble the different sections of the structure in a complex, high-visibility urban environment.

    AMIP SRL’s fleet of Multitel platforms covers heights from 25 to 42 meters, and is used nationwide for work at height, temporary installations, coverings, and maintenance.

    The long-standing collaboration and trust with Multitel Pagliero is directly managed by Milan branch commercial manager, Tiziano Marcassola, who supports AMIP SRL with supply, assistance, and maintenance.

    “We have been working with Multitel platforms for years, and they have always stood out for reliability, performance, and safety,” comments Amedeo, owner of AMIP SRL. “The technical support and availability of Tiziano Marcassola and the Milan branch are a constant reference for us: they allow us to rely on equipment that is always efficient and ready for any type of operation.”

    With this project, AMIP SRL confirms its experience and flexibility in managing complex urban sites, combining technical skills, top-notch equipment, and organizational capability in the service of visual communication and safety.
